Being environmentally friendly simply for us means having a lifestyle that is better for the environment. Its all about taking the small steps towards mother earth so as to make this planet a better place for our communities and generations to come. A good way would be to start with conserving water, driving less and walking more, consuming less energy, buying recycled products, eating locally grown vegetables, joining environmental groups to combat air pollution, creating less waste, planting more trees and many more.

Using the green bin

Bring our own Tupperware to Restaurants for takeout or leftovers.

Instead of using the restaurant’s disposable containers with take out or leftovers, we will let them know in advance that we will be bringing our own containers. I imagine they will be pleased to save on their packaging.

Reusable bags, mesh bags and shopping bins are a must. Compost everything. Beeswax wrapping and wool dryer balls!

I have purchased reusable produce bags and locally made beeswax food wrappers.
