A survey was conducted between May 15 and July 9, 2023. The survey is now closed. More than 1,200 responses were collected, and these responses will help us develop a bylaw that reflects the needs and values of our community.

The survey also helped us collect input on urban farming activities (backyard hens and beekeeping), which supports an objective in City Council’s Strategic Plan.

Next Steps

The feedback collected from the survey was compiled into a “What We Heard” report. This report was shared with City Council on September 18, 2023. A draft of the bylaw will be developed and brought back to City Council for review and discussion in March 2024.
