Queen Street road closure to accommodate First Avenue alley watermain rehabilitation
Update (August 8): Due to weather, the road closure on Queen Street will be extended for three additional days to support work in the area.
Starting today, Tuesday, August 5, Queen Street will be fully closed from First Avenue to just south of the McLeod Avenue intersection.
The road closure is anticipated to be active for one week and is required to support the watermain and sanitary sewer rehabilitation work in the alley north of First Avenue.
Drivers should follow detour signage and expect delays in the area.
Thank you for your patience this construction season as work continues to revitalize our City Centre.
